If “Hello & Happy Holidays” gets good reviews, Armstrong might try another album: “Maybe I get Drake to work with me.”
For Armstrong — who grew up in Brooklyn and recalls belting out “White Christmas” often at his elementary school — the recording process was about having a good time.
Broadcast partner Matt Devlin will introduce Armstrong at the December concert. The musical turn doesn’t surprise him in the least.
