Northern Australia has been experiencing heatwave conditions, but the bureau is forecasting that to change this week with humidity and storms returning.The Bureau is predicting a mostly sunny 28C for Sydneysiders on December 25, with a minimum of 18C.
The week leading up to Christmas is set to be on the colder side, with maximums under 25C until Friday, which is set to reach 30C with a shower or two in store.While Melbourne has had a chilly and wet start to December, Christmas Day is shaping up to be a dry one. It’s set to be much wetter further north, with Cairns expecting a warm top of 33C and a 70 per cent chance of rain. A thunderstorm is predicted.Christmas Eve is set to be on the cooler side in Adelaide according to the Bureau, with a high of 24C and the cloudy conditions from this week just clearing up.The northern parts of WA and the Northern Territory are set to be warm over Christmas, with storms predicted in the NT.
