K-pop singer Bada 바다 turned down the offer to become the wife of the Thai prince for this reason:

The idol-turned-musical actress appeared on an episode of the talk show “Radio Star”. During the chat with the MCs, Bada shared a story that happened when she visited the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand more than 20 years ago.“When I was active as a member of S.E.S, we went to the Phi Phi Islands to shoot a music video. We were filming on a big boat, when a bigger yacht approached us right in front of our boat.

“Once we got inside the yacht, she showed me a photo of a boy. Turns out, he was the prince of Thailand. She then told me that the royal family liked my facial feature and asked me to be the second wife of the prince,Bada later explained the reason why she turned down the royal family’s offer. According to the former girl group member,

“The lady asked me for my parent’s phone number. She said that the family had enough money to feed 100 generations. But I refused because I wouldn’t be the first wife.”Fast forward to 2023, Bada is now happily married to former football player Park Jung Min. The couple welcomed their first child in 2020.
