Fire ants are spreading in South East Queensland, sparking calls for urgent action to stop the invasive pests moving across the country. 7NEWS
has emerged as an epicentre for the spread after 26 nests were found at Broadwater — including 18 at a public waterfront parkland — earlier this month.Looking for a new job or job candidate? “I was halfway through pulling a jet out on the planter and next minute, bang, there were fire ants from my knees right up to my shoulders,” he said.
