The party retained all three of its lower house seats with Jenny Leong and Tamara Smith returning to the parliament, and Kobi Shetty succeeded the retiring Jamie Parker in Balmain.
The Lake Macquarie MP was first elected in 2007 and has advocated for dying with dignity and gambling reform while opposing privatisation of public assets.
