Dolly de Leon strides BAFTA 2023 red carpet in a Rajo Laurel creation
The gown features a tube top with wave-like elements on the waist down. Dolly matched the Rajo Laurel gown with a pair of Steve Madden heels and jewelry courtesy of Bulgari.
“What a great [honor] it is to be able to dress up the first Filipino to be nominated for the [BAFTA] awards,” Rajo wrote on Instagram. “Thank you dearest Dolly for being an inspiration to all of us Filipinos. MABUHAY KA!!!” the designer added, tagging the 54-year-old Filipino actress. Kerry Condon of “Banshees of Inisherin” beat Dolly and several other high-profile actresses, securing the best supporting actress award.
