AFPPIX: Thailand’s scorching hot weather is expected to continue this week as the temperature could touch 42 degree Celsius in the central and northern provinces this week.
“Chonburi province east of Bangkok is the second-hottest place in the kingdom with the heat index expected soar to 52.3 degree Celsius,” it said. The heat index, also known as the apparent temperature, is what the temperature feels like to the human body when relative humidity is combined with the air temperature and wind speed.
