BANGKOK, Aug 21 — Thailand’s prime ministerial hopeful Srettha Thavisin today assured members of his Pheu Thai party he would follow through with its agenda if elected by parliament, after the party formed an alliance with rivals backed by the military.
Srettha, who is set to be nominated for premier in a parliamentary vote tomorrow, said the alliance was a necessary path towards serving the people. — Reuters
