The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) on Monday, August 1, thanked the late former president Fidel V. Ramos for promoting technical vocational program in the country.
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority on Monday, August 1, thanked the late former president Fidel V. Ramos for promoting technical vocational education and training in the country.“Thank you very much for your zeal in promoting tech-voc in our country,” the agency said in a statement.
“TESDA was established after former President FVR signed Republic Act No. 7796 or the ‘Technical Education and Skills Development Act of 1994’ on August 25, 1994,” added TESDA. This is the law, the agency said, that continues to “encourage the full participation of industry, the labor sector, local government and technical-vocational institutions in the development of the knowledge and skills of our countrymen.”
