Homicide detectives are appealing for information from the public following a shooting in a Melbourne suburb which left a man dead, as the first images of the incident are released.
Emergency services were called to a home on Vaucluse Boulevard in Taylors Hill at about 11:30pm on Sunday where they found a critically injured man in a BMW.
The man, who was seated in the passenger seat, is understood to have been shot through the car's window following a car chase. CCTV footage obtained by 9News showed the driver frantically calling out for help as he rung a door bell and knocked repeatedly to get the occupant's attention.
