TerraceBC Bluebacks come out on top at Kitimat swim meet
The Terrace Bluebacks Swim Club came out on tops in accumulated points of its swimmers during a Dec. 10-Dec. 11 meet in Kitimat.
The club had 874 points with the Prince Rupert Amateur Swim Club close behind at 840 points and followed by the host Kitimat Marlins with 469 points at the Rio Tinto Invitational.Meredith Acal – Won the 200 IM. Cam second in the 50 backstroke and 50 breaststroke. Finished third in the 200 and 50 freestyle– Won the 200 backstroke, 400 IM and 100 butterfly. Came second in the 100 back and 100 breast.
