PETALING JAYA: Terengganu striker Jordan Mintah knows what is at stake – three points for confidence and a reason to smile before the break.

After their demoralising 1-5 Super League defeat against Selangor last week, the Turtles want to overturn their fortunes by beating Pahang at the Sultan Mizan Stadium in Gong Badak today.

The task however, will be tough as the Elephants have remained unbeaten in nine games and have their ‘tusks’ sharpened with the return of striker Lucas Espindola, who is fully fit after a knee injury. “What happened against Selangor has happened. We are looking forward now, and the preparation against Pahang has been good,” said Mintah.“As for Pahang’s defence, I’ll be mentally ready to face any defender. The goal is to win the game.

Terengganu coach Tomislav Steinbruckner has either used two or three men forward line in his system, and for Mintah, he is game for it as long as there is communication with everyone on the field.
