Temperatures to plunge to as low as -3C tomorrow night with frost and risk of icy patches
It's time to break out the winter woolies as temperatures will plunge to lows of -3C tomorrow night Met Eireann have warned.The rain will begin in the southwest and west during the late morning and early afternoon, extending gradually eastwards this afternoon and evening.
Winds will be mostly light to moderate southerly, but strong northwesterly winds will develop this afternoon along Munster and Connacht coasts. There will be further outbreaks of rain and drizzle across the eastern half of the country and with some heavy bursts in eastern coastal areas.After dark, the mercury will take a serious nosedive, falling to lows of -3C to 2C.
