Runners hit the road tomorrow morning for the Tely Ten Road Race in metro—a few months late but well worth the wait according to organizers.

The event was postponed in July because of extreme heat. Randy Ball, race coordinator, says the overall numbers have not changed from the summer registration. They held a second registration to reflect the new date and while some who were in St. John’s for the event were unable to make it back, others who were not registered for the July race signed up for tomorrow’s event.

Several roads in the metro region will be closed down tomorrow morning. The race begins at 8 a.m. and winds down at 11 p.m.
