A teenager charged after three children were knocked down by a car at Crows Nest on Sydney's North Shore has appeared in court. DamoNews 9News MORE:
A 13-year-old boy was taken to Sydney Children's Hospital and treated for serious injuries including leg fractures. Two other children, aged 12, were treated for minor injuries and have since been discharged.Dashcam shows the moments before the children were hit.
Police arrested Khanna at Lane Cove - several suburbs away from Crows Nest - about 30 minutes after the crash.He has been issued a licence suspension notice and was initially refused bail. Khanna was charged with seven offences, including dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, negligent driving , failing to stop and assist after vehicle impact causing grievous bodily harm, failing to stop and assist after impact causing injury, proceeding through a red traffic light and two charges of causing bodily harm by misconduct while in charge of a motor vehicle.
