PORT DICKSON: A 16-year-old boy and two others were killed when a four-wheel drive pickup crashed into the rear of their car at KM 20.8 of the Seremban-Port Dickson Highway on Tuesday (Feb 14).
Port Dickson police chief Supt Aidi Sham Mohamed identified the deceased as M. Pangaja Valli, 51, R. Mogana, 35 and S. Jagannath, 16.
Supt Aidi Sham said all occupants in the car were from Ampang in Selangor and were returning from a temple at Batu 5 Jalan Pantai, while the driver of the pickup is a contractor who was heading towards a project site in Taman Intan Perdana. Supt Aidi Sham said another passenger who was seated in the back seat survived the incident but suffered broken rib bones.She was engaged to the front seat passenger of the car identified as S. Thibankumar who broke his left arm in the crash.Pangaja Valli was Thibankumar's mother while Jagannath was his younger brother.Supt Aidi Sham said the 45-year-old driver of the pickup sustained light injuries and had been detained at the district police station here for questioning.
