IPOH: A 15-year-old boy was accidentally left behind at the Tapah northbound Rest & Restoration (R&R) area has been reunited with his family.
Tapah OCPD Supt Wan Azharuddin Wan Ismail said the boy was found at a petrol station at the R&R at about 6.45pm on Tuesday before being reunited with his family.
"Policemen in the area found him alone during their routine Hari Raya Aidilfitri Ops Selamat 20 patrol. "The policemen managed to track down and contacted the teenager's father before meeting them at the Tapah toll plaza," said Supt Wan Azharuddin.He reminded parents to be alert and to ensure the safety of their children at all times.
"We would like to advise the people to be careful while driving and to take precautionary steps to prevent any untoward incidents," he added.
