A teenager has been detained after police found a woman and a girl - believed to be his mother and sister - with multiple stab wounds to the stomach late on Thursday night.
Emergency services rushed to a Rosewood home, about 50 minutes south-west of Brisbane, on Thursday about 10:30pm after reports of wounding.
Acting Chief Superintendent Andrew Pilotto held a press conference on Thursday to address community concerns about the recent increase in crime. “They’re furious … sick and tired of the crime that’s happening,” Ms Hanson told Sky News Australia Contributor Steve Price on Thursday.
