The Brad Gushue rink will begin its quest to the World Curling Championship this afternoon.This will be Gushue’s fourth appearance at the World Championship. In their last appearance, Gushue’s rink fell 8-6 in the final against Niklas Edin and Team Sweden.
He says other teams often know well in advance that they will be playing in the tournament, but Canada only gets about two weeks to prepare, which doesn’t allow much time for rest or recovery. Still, he says that doesn’t take anything away from how good those teams are.
