After losing last year\u0027s gold medal to Finland and trying to avoid a tournament full of upsets, Canada is back on top of world hockey,
“I can’t say enough,” coach Andre Tourigny commented, “about the players who bought in, blocked shots, did it all.
“It starts with the strong leadership group,” Tourigny said. “The first day we met all the players, the answers we got from everybody were that ‘we’re here to win, we want to win a gold medal.’ “It felt like we played together for two years. We’re just happy to get home and bring the gold medal to our fans.”
