The feud between Taylor, 33, and Kanye, 46, kicked off in 2009 at the MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York City when Taylor won Best Female Video for ‘You Belong With Me’. When Beyonce later scooped Video of the Year for ‘Single Ladies’ at the ceremony, she invited Taylor back on stage to finish her speech.
Speaking to Vogue previously about the drama, Taylor said: “A mass public shaming, with millions of people saying you are quote-unquote canceled, is a very isolating experience. When you say someone is canceled, it’s not a TV show. It’s a human being.
