Airport authorities have arrested a taxi driver for overcharging a group of Chinese nationals at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Wang Wei and her friends were charged P6,000 from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 — roughly a 15-minute ride — by cab driver Eugene del Rosario on August 2, the"Not knowing what to do and for fear of missing their flight back to China, they just paid the P6,000 and sought help from the T1 Terminal police station to complain," MIAA said.
Airport officials said they are waiting for the return of Wang Wei to file her formal complaint affidavit to be used as basis for the filing of case against del Rosario.
