“They can see the wonders of nature like the wild buffaloes of Kampung Lukut, which is a village not far from Panti Forest Reserve.”
Kota Tinggi Tourist Informa-tion Centre operations manager Muhamad Zakirhussin Md Din said the “kampung experience” packages give visitors a chance to see what traditional village life in Kota Tinggi is like.
“The centre will provide transportation for visitors to see the porcupines and other interesting places in these villages,” said Muhamad Zakirhussin.He further said that the centre was working closely with local fishermen to provide the river cruise. “The other tour is from 7.30pm to 9pm where they will be taken to the mangrove sites to see fireflies along the river,” he added.Muhamad Zakirhussin said most of the domestic tourists were city dwellers who wanted to experience nature.“Due to the positive feedback we have received, we hope to add other interesting locations that Kota Tinggi has to offer,” he said.
