On June 8, Kimberly Murray was appointed the independent special interlocutor for missing children and unmarked graves and burial sites. Over the next two years, she will be hearing from Indigenous Peoples, Inuit and Métis across Canada as she works to develop a legal framework to protect unmarked graves and burial sites of children who attended residential schools.
