MANILA, Philippines — Padel Philippines continues its upward trajectory as Joanna Tao Yee Tan and Marian Capadocia bring home more honors from various international tournaments. Tan and Capadocia consecutively dominated two Asia Pacific Padel Tour (APPT) events held in separate venues.

MANILA, Philippines — Padel Philippines continues its upward trajectory as Joanna Tao Yee Tan and Marian Capadocia bring home more honors from various international tournaments. Tan and Capadocia consecutively dominated two Asia Pacific Padel Tour events held in separate venues.With these achievements, the Senate of the Philippines congratulated Tao Yee Tan and Marian Capadocia for being the first all-Filipina champions in the Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia legs of the APPT.

'We are so proud of our athletes, they have shown how talented Filipinos and we look forward to more international success,' said Senator Pia Cayetano, who is the president of the Padel Pilipinas.Capadocia and Arcilla are both seasoned tennis players before shifting their interest to padel.Last Sunday, Capadocia secured her 10th singles title at the prestigious Philippine Columbian Association Open Tennis Championships, tying the record of Arcilla in the men's singles.
