11 tahun lalu negara digemparkan dengan kisah pencerobohan pengganas di Lahad Datu, Sabah. Lebih menyedihkan tragedi itu juga turut mengorbankan 10 nyawa perwira negara.
Mengenang semula tragedi itu melalui Takluk : Lahad Datu, filem arahan Zulkarnain Azhar menjadi antara platform penting buat generasi kini dalam memahami secara terperinci mengenai kejadian pencerobohan tersebut. Sementara itu antara pelakon hebat yang turut menjayakan filem ini termasuklah Syafiq Kyle, Kamal Adli, Fikry Ibrahim, Andingm Indrawani, Eman Manan dan Riezman Khuzaimi.
