SANDAKAN: Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob today advised people returning to the peninsula from Sabah to go for a swab test for Covid-19.
He also dismissed rumours that Sabah would be placed under lockdown once the state election was over, saying that the health ministry was still monitoring the situation in the state. “Apart from the voters, Election Commission officers, vote counters and everyone else needs to comply with the SOPs,” he said at a press conference here.
