MPs have accepted more than $1-million combined in sponsored travel since the 2021 election, according to disclosures made to the Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner. As the 44th Parliament passes its midpoint, the office’s registry shows that 85 MPs have disclosed a combined 128 instances of sponsored travel to destinations both in Canada and abroad to date.
