Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano visited and gave financial assistance to families affected by a fire in Barangay Ususan on Feb. 18.
The fire hit a residential area at No. 23 Kalayaan St., iBarangay Ususan that reached the second alarm. The blaze was put out at 2:32 a.m.Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano talking to the fire victims
According to the Taguig City government, 35 families were affected by the fire. Cayetano was accompanied by Barangay Ususan Captain Marie Marcelino when she met the families. Taguig’s Social Welfare Development Office and Barangay Affairs Office provided assistance to the families who are currently staying at Ususan Elementary School. They were given sleeping kits, hygiene kits, and cooked meals.
