A busy shopping centre in Sydney’s west was temporarily placed into a partial lockdown on Sunday morning over a suspected “safety threat”.Parts of the centre were evacuated as a precaution before specialist officers deemed a suspicious package not to be a threat.
Speculation over the cause of the partial lockdown was rife online, with some reporting a suitcase had been abandoned outside a grocery store.
