Syahredzan claims defamation, demands Bangi PAS chief apologise
Bangi lawmaker Syahredzan Johan says constituency PAS chief Mohd Shafie Ngah must apologise for defamatory statements against the former within 48 hours. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, July 12, 2023.
The DAP man claimed Shafie had made several slanderous statements against him in two Perikatan Nasional events held in October 2022 and earlier this month, which in addition to media coverage, were also published on social media.“The disputed statements against me are not true at all and are slanderous. I do not intend to repeat those slanderous statements here,” he said in a Facebook post today.
