Rapid KL has announced that the six LRT stations that were suspended last month are now operational again. The Ampang
Those six stations were temporarily shuttered on 2 April due to the trains not meeting operational criteria and had to be taken out of service for safety. It said that the reason for the trains’ poor condition is due to them not being able to be moved to the depot for maintenance sinceis that with the first phase completed, the second phase has started and is expected to be completed by mid-October. When this happens, the operators claims that the LRT routes will return to normal operation.
With the return of those stations, Rapid KL added that the LRT 11, 13, and 14 bus routes will be discontinued. Morever, it will reactivate the LRT 10 temporary shuttle service connecting the Masjid Jamek and Bandaraya LRT stations using 10 buses at an interval of 10 minutes.
