The suspected serial killer who terrorized tourist hot spot Montego Bay has been described by his neighbours as a “decent, Christian boy”.Detectives arrested Ricketts on suspicion of murdering four people since July — and fear there could be more victims. He allegedly stabbed all of his victims to death and has reportedly confessed to the grisly murders.“His parents are decent people; father decent, mother decent.
“I know him as a Christian, decent boy. He went to Barracks Road Primary and he then went to Herbert Morrison Technical where he passed a number of subjects.”The accused was nabbed after the violent abduction and attempted rape of a woman on Aug. 30. According to local media, the first victim was a Jane Doe believed to be in her sixties whose body was discovered with numerous stab wounds on Jimmy Cliff Blvd. on July 28.
The other victim, 20-year-old Leonardo Lewis otherwise called ‘Raheem’ or ‘Ackeem’ was found by neighbours with stab wounds on Aug. 9. He died later in hospital. In addition, Ricketts has also been charged with the murders of two homeless men. Mark Thompson was stabbed to death on Aug. 19 while the second homeless man, slain on July 28, has not been identified.
