Support for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has lifted across Australia, according to the latest Newspoll conducted for The Australian. Picture: Justin Lloyd Two-party preferred stakes in the state have also narrowed as a swing of three points has Labor on the tail of Peter Dutton's party 49 to 51 per cent.

Labor had held a narrow three per cent swing against its opponents in the two-party preferred, but that has since blown out by 10 points at 55 to 45.
