Major super funds and investors managing $6.3 trillion in funds will target top 300 companies over their gender balance at annual meetings this year, as they push business to reach gender equality by 2030.

This annual meeting season is the first year that many of the companies will report against their gender targets, with investors planning to take them to task. Launched in October 2020, the 40:40 Vision campaign stands for having 40 per cent of executives identifying as women, 40 per cent identifying as men and 20 per cent identifying as any gender.
