It had been a thrilling Super Bowl leading up to that frantic ending, highlighted by a brave performance from injured MVP Patrick Mahomes and his opposing quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Minutes later it was a bad punt from Aussie Arryn Siposs that led to the longest return in Super Bowl history, and ultimately led to another Chiefs touchdown to extend their lead. But it was Hurts who took matters into his own hands once again, scoring his third rushing touchdown to level the game at 35-35 with five minutes remaining.
