Sunway Pyramid Ice, gelanggang luncur ais terkenal menjadi tuan rumah kepada program Skate Malaysia edisi ke-16 dan siri kejohanan Ice Skating Institute Asia ketiga yang bermula semalam hingga 30 Jun ini.
“Kami dengan bangga mengumumkan bahawa Skate Malaysia tahun ini mencatat kejayaan baharu dengan 600 penyertaan dari Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Thailand, Kuwait, Qatar, Filipina dan Amerika Syarikat untuk bertanding dalam 1,700 acara,” katanya pada majlis pembukaan program itu di Sunway Pyramid di sini hari ini.
Upacara pembukaan Skate Malaysia dimulakan dengan perarakan peserta yang mengibarkan bendera negara masing-masing diikuti persembahan oleh juara luncur ais kebangsaan Fang Ze Zeng.
