Following the launch of the Daily Telepgraph’s ‘Swipe Them Out’ campaign, a summit will be held this month to discuss dating app safety.
According to a study by the Australian Institute of Criminology, one in ten respondents had experienced their drink being spiked and 45 per cent of respondents had been subjected to abusive and threatening language.
“Right now popular apps like Hinge, Bumble, Tinder do not require you to provide a last name or provide any form of identity,” the Daily Telegraph’s Reporter Angira Bharadwaj told Sky News Australia.
