Olbrich Knitwear aims to merge technology with a timeless curation of wear\u002Deverywhere styles.
Q: Who is the target customer? We think of our target customer as a smart, fashion-forward individual who wants to consume responsibly. Olbrich Knitwear is versatile and designed to accommodate a busy lifestyle, so our pieces not only take you from day-to-night, but function for both remote and in-person work. Our collection features wardrobe staples such as oversized merino turtlenecks, sweater dresses, and cotton lounge sets that are stylish enough to be worn out to dinner.
Our process also significantly reduces the large carbon footprint involved in the sampling-end of the fashion industry. It’s not uncommon for 3-5 garment samples to be created and shipped back and forth internationally between a manufacturer and the designer. However, 3D knitwear typically involves only one or two samples, and our manufacturer is just a few hours’ drive from our studio in Montreal.Article contentis our hero piece. It’s a great example of the capabilities of 3D knitwear.
