They represent video games at the absolute height of their craft, especially when it comes to character-driven storytelling.
But, add the creative team behind Chernobyl, one of my favourite series from the past few years and the acting talents of Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as the two leads and you have a recipe that’s hard to mess up. Only a few pockets of quarantine zones operated by a fascist echo of the federal government known as FEDRA remain along with raiders, a splinter group hoping to reestablish civil society called the Fireflies and, oh yes, the vast swarms of infected.
