Storm Bert, the second named storm of the season, will arrive on Friday night, bringing heavy rain and strong winds to most areas of the country
Met Éireann has issued a series of Yellow, Orange and Red weather warning s ahead of Storm Bert this weekend, which is set to bring “severe flooding” and "damage to homes and businesses" for some counties.

Ahead of Storm Bert, Met Éireann has issued a Weather Advisory for the country, alongside a series of Yellow, Orange and Red rain, wind and ice warnings from Friday into Sunday.
