‘Bullish it will work’: Gawn refuses to give up on Grundy experiment as finals role looms
“He’s been training well the last two or three weeks to set himself up for that game. We all knew it was coming. He’s set himself up really well,” Gawn said of Grundy’s huge match.
“Luckily I probably had the little c next to my name – it was probably a bit easier to get rid of Brodie than it was for me at the time. I certainly wasn’t going well.Gawn said he felt confident both he and Grundy were “fresh” and ready to go for a big finals campaign.
