If you think talking to your grandparents about sex is uncomfortable, just imagine how they feel about it.

Mark your calendars folks, April is STI Awareness Month, making it the opportune time to get familiar with sexually transmitted infections .

In fact, in the past decade, STI rates for seniors over 65 have risen by a staggering 267% for chlamydia, 340% for syphilis, and 388% for gonorrhea. Johanson, co-creator of the 2023 CSA award-winning documentary "Sex with Sue", is no stranger to discussing taboo sex topics and is a perfect partner for this campaign.

To help spark conversations about safer sex, Jems has also created a collection of F#cking Old hard candies, which can be purchased on their website with 100% of sales proceeds going to Action Canada for Sexual Health & Rights. The campaign is not only about promoting safer sex practices but also about breaking down the taboo surrounding sex and encouraging open and honest communication between generations.
