PETALING JAYA: Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) star winger Arif Aiman Hanapi (pic) has been named the Professional Footballers’ Association of Malaysia (PFAM) February-March 2023 Player of the Month following a stellar performance at the beginning of the season.
PETALING JAYA: Johor Darul Ta’zim star winger Arif Aiman Hanapi has been named the Professional Footballers’ Association of Malaysia February-March 2023 Player of the Month following a stellar performance at the beginning of the season.
The award was presented to the 20-year-old, who has scored five goals in nine Super League matches this season, in a brief ceremony by PFAM chief executive officer Izham Ismail ahead of the Super League match between Police and JDT at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium on Wednesday night. Arif Aiman, who was also the Most Valuable Player at the National Football Awards in 2021 and 2022, received a plaque, RM2,000, and protein drink products.
He beat four other candidates namely Sabah import player Park Tae-su, his teammate at JDT Fernando Forestieri of Argentina, Faisal Halim and Police goalkeeper Ramadhan Hamid in the voting process.Article type: free
