GEORGE TOWN: Penang DAP chairman Chow Kon Yeow will serve the full term as Chief Minister if he gets re-elected in the upcoming state elections, says DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke.
"Then, when the state government is formed, Chow will be named the Chief Minister.Loke said at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Han Chiang University College of Communication's new building.
Deputy Finance Minister II Steven Sim, Deputy Education Minister Lim Hui Ying, and DAP chairman Lim Guan Eng were also present.The media asked the question as rumours abound about a plan to remove Chow in the next party election. Meanwhile, Ooi said the RM70mil new Han Chiang University College building would comprise teaching buildings, administrative structures, and dormitories.
