Finding an American to pull from the lineup won’t be easy, but the Stampeders’ rushing attack was the key to their offence all season and keeping all three guys in might be a huge boost. Against a Lions team that was middle-of-the-pack at stopping the run and were often playing from ahead earlier in the season, thereby forcing opponents into throwing situations when they had to play catch-up, there could be an opportunity for the Stamps to pound the ball on the ground.
The Stamps also managed to largely make it out of the game against the Riders unscathed, which is good news as they prepare for what they hope will be a long playoff run.
