Prince George taking on Vernon, Salmon Arm this weekend,; then off to Chilliwack for BCHL Showcase
The Spruce Kings left town early this morning and will be in Vernon tonight to play the Vipers , then will head west to take on the Salmon Arm Silverbacks Saturday night .
Last year, the league tied its own record with 173 players committed to NCAA Division 1 teams. Seven BCHL players were selected in the 2022 NHL draft in Montreal. So for the Spruce Kings, especially those looking to lock up their college hockey futures, the Showcase gives them an opportunity to impress the NCAA and NHL scouts.
The longest roadtrip of the season, will continue next Friday night in Vernon, for a rematch with the Vipers. They’ll board the bus right after that game for the seven-hour drive back to P.G.
