The Blue Jays will have a chance to get out the brooms on Sunday against the Kansas City Royals.
A day after all-star Bo Bichette had returned to spark the Jays to a series-opening 5-4 win, Schneider opted to hold him out of the starting lineup. Schneider explained they are taking it slow with Bichette, who missed nine games with a right quad strain not long after returning from another injury. He’s expected to start Sunday.
