For the first time since 2019, the Greater Sudbury Sports Hall of Fame will be adding new names to the long list of outstanding local athletes

For the first time since June, 2019, the Greater Sudbury Sports Hall of Fame will host its traditional June Induction Ceremony Dinner.

Not only is the event returning for the first time since the pandemic, but it is also combining a pair of new classes as we reconvene at the Caruso Club. “Set for the evening of Wednesday, June 14th, 2023, this year’s event will welcome the Class of 2020 , as well as a Class of 2022,” the hall said in a news release.“The announcement on the Class of 2022 is expected before the end of April,” states the news release. “The evening in question will belong completely to the new inductees as we investigate alternatives to recognize the annual award winners that have also become a key part of the festivities.

Tickets for the evening gala are $65/person or $480 for a table of eight, and can be purchased at the House of Kin or by contacting Randy Pascal by phone at 705-698-1627 or by email to [email protected], or Joe Drago by phone at 705-207-3475.
