Piers Morgan has teed off at the protesters who delayed the start of the Grand National horse race and stopped a World Snooker Championships match claiming they 'want to make a name for themselves'.

The Grand National horse race on Saturday and a live match in the World Snooker Championship on Monday were both affected by demonstrators.

“I think they’re a bunch of spoilt, entitled little brats who want to get in the papers, get on TV and occasionally have to give them what they want because these are genuine news events,” he said. Another protestor attempted to glue herself to the table next door but she was stopped by the match referee before both demonstrators were arrested.
